IGF-1 LR3 (Long Arginine 3 IGF-1) is a synthetic analogue of Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1, engineered to have a significantly extended half-life compared to native IGF-1. The substitution of an arginine at position 3 and the addition of a 13-amino acid extension peptide reduces binding to IGF binding proteins.
