CJC-1295 starts from the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), the region that carries its activity. Four substitutions make it resistant to enzymatic breakdown, and the DAC group lets it bind covalently to albumin in the blood, extending its half-life from minutes to days.
Both versions are sold as “CJC-1295.” Without DAC (also called Mod GRF 1-29) the half-life is about 30 minutes; with DAC it is reported at roughly 6 to 8 days. The masses differ by about 280 Da, so a mass spectrometry COA tells you instantly which one you have. This product is the DAC version.
Teichman et al. (2006, J Clin Endocrinol Metab) reported that a single administration in healthy adults raised GH for six days or more and IGF-1 for up to 9–11 days.
Ionescu & Frohman (2006, J Clin Endocrinol Metab) showed GH secretion stayed pulsatile during continuous CJC-1295 stimulation: baseline rose while the natural pulse pattern persisted.
