Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg) developed from pineal gland extracts. It has been studied extensively in Russian gerontology research for its neuroprotective properties and regulation of circadian biology.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
Pinealon penetrates the blood-brain barrier and interacts with DNA in neurons and glial cells. Research suggests it regulates the expression of genes involved in neuroprotection, antioxidant defense, and melatonin synthesis.
